Update #2

Ok so it took longer than i thought to get the money together for the new server but I finally purchased it today. Apparently there is a waiting period of a week to get this thing set up so yes that means another week of no image uploads (could be less time). So apologies for all this waiting time. But once its all done and dusted the site should run 100% without issues. From a financial point of view we are just about making enough money to cover our costs but we wont really know the full picture until we have the site back to 100% for a few weeks. I still stand by my decision to not accept donations in the past from the community because I didnt want you guys to feel you had to give anything to us for what we give you. However please understand that with these new server costs there may be a time in the distant future where we have to ask for a little help tho hopefully that day will never come.

Thanks again for your patience, thanks to everyone who reads this blog and a big fuck you, you retarded monkeys to everyone who emails us saying “DA SITE IS BROKE DA IMAGES ARENT WORKING WHATS WRONG WHY ARENT YOU FIXING IT” Because really… all it takes is for you to turn your head by a few degrees to the left to see the big READ THIS part of the news box, get the link to the blog and of course the twitter feed. So yeah, kill yourself.

(I don’t regularly follow the blog, so changes often slip by me. I’m sure I’m not alone in that.

Eh, I understand you don’t want to make everyone feel like they have to pay to be on paheal, but why not just put a small Paypal link on the front page or something? However difficult it’s been for some of us to have the site down this long, it has to have been a lot worse for you guys, who have to deal with the burden (financial and otherwise) of getting it back online. Honestly, if you put up a tip jar where people can give whatever whenever they feel like it, you’d be surprised who’d donate. Make sure to label it as a ‘tip jar’ rather than having a big DONATE button though, people seem to be fine with one but not the other for some reason.

Is that why sometimes the pictures don’t work and you get the error that says:

Something has triggered missing webpage on your website. This is the default 404 error page for nginx that is distributed with EPEL. It is located /usr/share/nginx/html/404.html

You should customize this error page for your own site or edit the error_page directive in the nginx configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf.

So will those pictures start to work again once everything is carried over to the new server,i dont know how these things work

Yeah, random images on the server are indeed dead. I’ve encountered them all over the place, on completely different series. And these aren’t new images either, most of them old, some dating back years. I trust all problems will be sorted, but I am curious what exactly caused random image deaths to happen.

Someone recommended to me that if I needed to go to the rule34 site and avoid the IP ban to just use a proxy. All I can say is that rule34 seems COMPLETELY proxy blocked. Why say this? Actually some of the pictures on here were NEVER available on ANY other website. This INCLUDES one I made myself (actually I colorized a page from an already existing b&w hentai doujinshi with a pic of a hot anime girl). I uploaded it here and with the server being funny I couldn’t access it. But with my ban now, Even if later they get the server working again I won’t be able to retrieve the picture. And this site is the ONLY site I uploaded it to. So this is VERY VERY bad for me.

this was always one of the primary sites I submitted to. I deleted most of my pics cause they weren’t very popular, but have a few more to submit now.
